Graduate School
The university graduate school offers a two-year Master's Degree program and a three-year Doctoral program in Nursing Science.
There are four majors in the Master's Degree program: Research in Nursing Science, Professional Midwifery, Nurse Practitioner with specialties in Pediatric and Geriatric Nursing, and Certified Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Maternity Nursing. As a means for contributing to the community, the Master's program is designed to allow those already working in the field of nursing and health care to continue their work and study uninterruptedly. Instruction is offered during the day and evening. Total enrollment in the Master's program is ten students per year.
The fundamental concept of our doctoral program is Evidence-Based Nursing (EBN), in which an experimental and interventional approach provides evidence for research in nursing science. Expertise in research can be attained in the following areas in our doctoral program: biology and physiology, environmental toxicology, sports sciences, radiological health and biology, and biostatistics and informatics. The entrance quota for the doctoral program is two students per year.
