The Health Science Master’s Course & PhD Course
Course Characteristics
This is a research course for nurses and non-nursing healthcare professionals to acquire advanced research skills in health science. Course students include nurses, doctors, dietitians, radiology technicians, pharmacists, clinical laboratory technicians, clinical engineering technologists, health and exercise instructors, and physical and occupational therapists.
Course Curriculum
The six majors are health physiology, environmental health science, physical fitness and sports science, radiological health science, health informatics and biostatistics, and mental health.
Two health science department faculty members with expertise in course majors supervise the research of each student from an interdisciplinary perspective.
After Graduation
Students completing a master's thesis receive a health science master's degree. Students completing a doctoral dissertation receive a health science PhD degree.
Our graduates work as physical therapists, occupational therapists, radiology technicians in general and specialized hospitals, and as nursing university faculty and professional researchers.
