Campuses
The Main Campus holds the lecture building, research labs and learning labs, library, administrative office and Community Outreach and Engagement Center. The South Oita Campus is next to Oita Prefectural Hospital and holds our Clinical Instruction Center.
The Library
The Library has over 82,500 Japanese-language and English-language books and over 600 academic journals on nursing, medicine and health. Library users have access to several digital databases.
Fundamental Nursing/ Adult Nursing/ Gerontological Nursing
Students learn and practice bedbound nursing skills here. The lab has actual hospital medical equipment and simulation dolls for practicing injections and intravenous drips. Students can self-practice skills here.
Pediatric Nursing/ Nurse Practitioner
Students learn and practice pediatric nursing skills here. The lab has infant and child simulation dolls and high-performance simulators. Nurse practitioner students use simulators to practice advanced skills here.
Community Health Nursing/ Home Nursing/ Nurse Practitioner
Students learn and practice home care skills here before visiting older adults at home during clinical practice. The lab has a functional kitchen, bedroom, living room and bathroom for realistic practice. Nurse practitioner students practice advanced skills here.
Health Sciences Lab
Sophomore students do health science experiments here to learn about human health through microscopic observation. The lab is fully equipped for a wide variety of scientific experiments.
Maternity Nursing/ Midwifery Lab
Students learn and practice maternal nursing and midwifery skills here. The lab has equipment for practicing care from assisting in childbirth to bathing babies. Students can self-practice skills here.
